LAY-MINISTRY

Our students work alongside local church training members in sharing literature, giving Bible studies, working with Adventist Community Services, and taking part in other forms of evangelism

MISSIONS

STRIDE students have opportunities for both local and foreign missions. Our students participate in short canvassing blitzes and also have had the chance to take part in foreign mission trips.

EDUCATION

STRIDE students receive training in evangelism, and other Bible topics. They are also able to take online college classes. The program offers each student a scholarship to help with their online class expenses.

ABOUT US

STRIDE is a ministry of the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists that stands for: Students Training, Reviving, Integrating, Discipling and Evangelizing.  STRIDE focuses on training young adults to engage in evangelism and evangelistic training at the local church level.

These young adults and student missionaries are college age students who have dedicated at least one year to helping local church members get involved with evangelism.

STRIDE provides students with opportunities for engaging in ministry all while continuing their college education. It also assists churches in mobilizing for community evangelism.
